Privacy
Last updated 3 November 2026. Plain words on purpose. A lawyer should read it before launch; nothing in it is meant to be softened by them.
The one idea
jobbyt matches work on a first impression: a sixty-second video. We hold as little as that needs, we never build a profile of you, and we never use what we hold to decide what you see.
What we hold, and why

What we never do
- We never profile you to suggest work or people. The feed is newest first.
- We never sell or share your data with advertisers. There are no advertisers.
- We never show your answer to anyone but the employer you answered.
- We never reveal who reported something.
Where it lives
Google Firebase (Firestore, Storage, Functions) in the EU (europe-west1). Payments are verified by RevenueCat and the app store you bought through. Push notifications go through Apple and Google.
How long
Offers until you close them, then 90 days. Answers 90 days after they were sent unless the employer opened your contact. Drafts and saved offers: on your device only, until you clear it. Statistics: aggregated after 13 months.
Your rights, and the buttons that give them to you
In the app, Settings → Your data:
- Start fresh on this device — forgets everything cached on the device. Your account is untouched.
- Download my data — everything we hold that names you, as a file you keep.
- Delete my account — your offers, answers, videos, stills, purchases and account are deleted for good, immediately. Reports you filed and statistics are kept with your id replaced by "deleted".
Anything else — a correction, a question, a complaint — write to dennis@dsx.nl. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Children
jobbyt is for people old enough to work. We do not knowingly hold data about anyone under 16; if you think we do, write to us and it goes.
